Barth H. Goldberg attended college at the University of Miami (Coral Gables), graduating in 1961 and graduated law school from the University of Miami in 1964.

Mr. Goldberg was a State’s Attorney for Cook County, Illinois from 1967 though 1970/ 1971, and was a full Professor of Law at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles from 1973 through 1979. Mr. Goldberg returned to Illinois in 1979 and has remained in full partnership with his identical twin brother, Barry D. Goldberg, since then.

Mr. Goldberg has published more than 100 articles on the topics of criminal law, family law, tort law, litigation, dissolution of marriage and has published texts on corporate law for the Illinois Continuing Legal Education/ Proof of Damage for Illinois; Family Business and Dissolution of Marriage for the Illinois Continuing Legal Education in 1981 and has also written “Valuation of Divorce Assets” for West Publishing Company, now in two volumes.

Mr. Goldberg is a member of the State Bar Associations:

Illinois;
Florida;
Colorado; and
California.

In spite of these many past endeavors, Mr. Goldberg has an active litigation practice and focuses his primary attention in the areas of medical malpractice law, tort litigation, and business litigation.

Additionally, Mr. Goldberg is married and has four children which he believes are his greatest work of art: Brittney, age 20; Jeremy, age 17; Robert, age 15; and Lindsey, age 13.
